New Features

I added some new features to 360eats.com this weekend. First up is Forums, which you can use to talk about whatever you would like (hopefully food related). We can also discuss new blogs to be aggregated (pro's and con's). I added a "smart" tagger that marks all posts that seem to be recipes as such. Finally I added a News section, which will just show 360eats news items (like this post). Also, I should mention that no one is using the star ratings yet, feel free to click them and vote for your favorite posts.

Another Note

On a down note, again something is wrong with our server. This time its affecting the mail sending feature of the site. It is a known issue with the server software we use, so we are hoping for a fix soon. The bottom line is, if you have tried to use the forms on the About Us link and they have taken forever or failed... please try again. Sorry about that.

360eats New Features

360eats.com is doing a slow roll out of our latest feature "Ratings and Views" today. Until we are positive that it doesn't explode the site, the feature will only be available on the search and archives pages. We're pretty proud of it, so check it out, you can rate posts and also see how many times they have been viewed so far. If nothing breaks they will be moved to the main page soon. Obviously the next thing that needs to be done is some kind of sort by ratings or views page, so stay tuned for that. Also, I think we may be adding some new blogs shortly.
